Join Labour’s campaign to clean up London’s air
Thousands of Londoners die every year as a result of our polluted air. Pollution has been shown to damage children’s lungs and increase the likelihood of dementia.
Only Labour are taking real action to tackle air pollution in London by:
- Cleaning up bus, taxi and emergency service vehicles
- Pushing the government to introduce a diesel scrappage scheme to help drivers who bought dirty cars
- Introducing the Toxicity Charge and Ultra Low Emission Zones
- Tackling air pollution around schools
- Making London a National Park City with more parks, trees and green space
The Tories refuse to admit that pollution is a problem and hurting our health:
- Boris Johnson suppressed reports showing how badly children are affected by pollution
- Refused to introduce a diesel scrappage scheme
- Opposed the introduction of the Toxicity Charge and Ultra Low Emission Zones
