We are confident that he will provide the leadership needed to coordinate a great campaign in Old Bexley & Sidcup in the coming weeks.

Now we have a fantastic Labour candidate, the hard work can really begin.

Polling day is Thursday 2 December – so we don’t have long. 

We’ll be out every day over the next month, knocking on doors and delivering leaflets from Daniel.

Old Bexley & Sidcup is my home. I’ve lived in Bexley all my life, my children go to local schools and I want to be a champion for you and for where we live.

I’m no stranger to an honest day’s work. My first job was at Bexleyheath M&S, and I worked for the company for 11 years. It taught me the dignity of work, and the importance of community.

I also know the value of public service, having worked as a councillor in Bexley for 17 of the last 21 years. I’ve been a champion for local people, and worked closely with community groups and local charities.

As a constituent I’ve seen first-hand how the local Tory council has let people down. And as a councillor I helped stop them when they tried to illegally withdraw school transport from disabled children, and stood up to them wasting your hard-earned money on expensive temporary accommodation.

Their inaction led to the bin strikes and cuts to the services we all rely on.

Local people deserve better. Even if you’ve never voted for us before, give my campaign a second look, and together we can build a brighter future for Old Bexley & Sidcup.
