Janet Daby is the Deputy Mayor for the London Borough of Lewisham. She has lived in Lewisham East for over 22 years and her children attend school there. She been a Local Councillor in Lewisham East since 2010 and in 2012 was promoted to the Mayor’s Cabinet for Community Safety. She has an excellent and proven track record of delivering positive change.

Janet Daby is also a Director of The Whitefoot and Downham Community Food Plus Project, an organisation which combats food poverty and isolation. Her professional background is in Volunteer Management and in Children’s Social Care, where she last worked as a Registered Fostering Manager.
